Report 1 / 5b
On the 24th
of June, we went over to the Simultania,
where we carried out painting activity with our friends from the Simultania
Judenburg.
First of
all we greeted our dear friends and Mr. Ploschnitznigg welcomed us in his
colorful and warm ambiance. He explained how important it is to take part in
activities with disabled people. Afterwards
we got paintbrushes and red paint and then the fun began. We went outside to
the fence and started painting the fence
surrounding the building of Simultania.
We had a
lot of fun and also the weather was gorgeous and sunny on that day. We joked
and laughed a lot together and after finishing a large part of the fence we
were very proud of our hard work. Then we had
a little break and spent some more time with our friends. We also appreciated
that they provided us with delicious drinks. We also played cards with them and
we were impressed by some ot the magic tricks shown from one of our friends
from the Simultania. After our
break we continued painting the another section of the fence and then we
finished and we said goodbye to our lovely friends.
Now we all
see the world with different eyes after this glorious experience and and
everytime we see this fence we will remember the joy we had painting it.

On the 1st
of June our class, the 5a, hat the possibility to visit the Simultania for the
3rd time. Again we met our “friends”, which we had known from the last visits.
Caused by the weather we had to change our plans of painting the fence and so
we had the chance to get to know the organization better.
After a
short talk with Mr. Ploschnitznigg, we split up in small groups and went to
different rooms. In the art-room, a friend showed us his paintings and his
sketchbook. Furthermore, we spent some time in the music-room and in other
rooms, where we played games.
With every visit,
we became more familiar with the “friends”. On that day, we recognized that the
relationship between us has changed a lot from the first visit until now.
We really
enjoyed spending time with the “friends” and we are looking forward to our next
visit.
