International Days of Persons with Disabilities

From 30th November to 3rd December our school celebrated the International Days of Persons with Disabilities.
During these days our students prepared some posters on issues related to people with disabilities and put them up on the walls all over the school. In physical education classes, some of our students were asked to play games while being blindfolded or confined to wheelchairs in order to raise their awareness of how hard it is for disabled people to play these games. On Thursday the 3rd December almost every student was wearing a yellow T-shirt to show that we are together and we accept their differences. It was very  funny and yellow day, indeed. What is more, some students were reciting poems learnt by heart, which was very touching. Finally, another small group of students with their teachers participated in the observance of the International Days of Persons with Disabilities in our city in “Rondo” Sports Centre. It was a very important and gathering time for our school which promotes the idea of working together and being together with disabled children.
