Our project song :)

Denmark through the eyes of Polish students - Friday, Saturday

When we came to school on Friday we played games and had the workshops with famous Danish musician. After that we prepared everything  to the party. During  farewell ceremony we sang song which tells about different colours of the butterfly, like we have differences between people. Everybody was impressed. Parents were listening to us with tears in their eyes After that we had BBQ. Everyone ate delicious Danish cousine and talked about this amazing week. Later we had different attractions prepared by each country.
Unfortunately time was passing very fast. We had to say good bye to every one and return home. Next day we woke up at 6 a.m , we took our bags and went to the train station. There we were crying a lot... this farewell was very hard for us.We are so grateful for hospitality of Danish families... You will stay forever in our memories.

After that we ate a lunch in the school and went  home to spend time with the Danish families. In the evening we had a party. We danced and Iga beautiful sang the song. The party ended at 10 p.m. This was a wonderfull day.

On Thursday we went to Aarhus. The second biggest city in Denmark. First we visited Vikings Museum in 2 groups. We had funny guide. After that we went to Museum of Modern Art. We saw Ron Mueck's "Boy". He looked crazy like Dobby in "Harry Potter" and Rory Macbeth's "Statue Flora". We walked in a special place calls “Rainbow” and we took a lot of photos with our friends. After traveling we went to school's club to have a party. We returned home very tired but we loved it.

Denmark through the eyes of Polish students - Monday, Tuesday

On Monday we met  together in the school.  We had enough time to break the ice. The people there was very friendly, nice and funny as we hoped. Next we devided into groups and we visited the school. We very liked the school because it was very big and modern. Very interesting for us was that they haven’t got bells and they work with laptops. After that we had a tour guide done by our Danish friends . We saw a very beautiful city Aalborg. In the city the most excited thing for us was the park. There we could listen to different kinds of music. We liked the modern, happy city. After that we saw the beautiful city we ate the lunch and went with our friends to their house. Our evening was arranged from our Danish friends. It was a very nice day.

Thursday  was one of the best days. First we met all together in the school very early. We went by bus to Skagen to visit a museum. There were beautiful pictures. Our guide told us a lot of amazing things about it! We were so impressed. When we had finished sightseeing we went to the bus. We had a lot of fun there because we were laughing a lot and making jokes. Next we went to the point where two seas meet. I have never seen such beautiful place before. We made a lot of photos. It was amazing there. After that we were very tired so we didn't want to see the desert we thought it will be very boring, but it wasn't. It was one of the funniest think what I experienced  in my life. We run, had a lot of fun, fought, lay in the sand. I will never forget this. The rest of the day we spent with our partners and their families. This day was so amazing!!!     ( Julia & Kuba)

Exchange in Denmark through the eyes of Polish students - Saturday, Sunday

That week was amazing. On Saturday morning we said goodbye to our parents and we went to Warsaw to take the plane. For some of us it was the first time to fly. The trip was so short but funny. On the airport there was a stressful accident, everyone piced up the bag but one suitcase was missing. After 20 minutes the bag was found. Later we took the bus  to the hotel. After that we check in and got a rest. Next we went to explore  Copenhagen. First we went to eat something so we stayed in lovely harbour in Nyhvan. This place was known for us  from the pictures only. After that we went to see the other points in the capital of Denmark. We were lucky to see palace with queen of Denmark inside. Copenhagen was colder than we thought. In the early evenning we came back to the hotel. In the morning we were so exciting and a little bit afraid. We checked out  and we went to catch the train. The trip to Aalborg was very long, funny and fascinating! When we get out of train the stress was disappeared . We said hello to everyone and we went to our host families. ( Julia & Damian)

Musik: Anders Hornshøj
Lyrics: 8K/Tine Pejstrup

1. Vers
Trapped in a body and mind
My soul is locked in an unknown world
Do you dare to take my hand  and try to understand

Perhaps we should meet out there
With our hearts open
Just to agree on the distance
 Between us

(Chorus)
If you see me in my many colours
I’ll shine and spread my wings out  like a butterfly
We are still all one of the same kind
Just open your mind
And then you will find
We are not that far apart

2. Vers

Thoughts running through my mind
Sometimes it’s hard to make a change
Do you dare to take my hand  and try to understand

Perhaps we should meet out there
With our hearts open
Just to agree on the distance
Between us

(Chorus)

3. Vers
If you see me clearly with eyes of care
Fragments of hope shines in my hair
Different colours – everywhere I go
In the sky, like a butterfly

(Chorus)
If you see me in my many colours
I will shine and spread my wings out  like a butterfly
We are still all one of the same kind
Just open your mind
And then you will find

If you see me in my many colours
Just open your mind
And then you will find  We are not,
We are not
We are not that far apart

Films
on
Students' Exchange
in

 Denmark

 and

Poland

Reports
on
3rd Students' Exchange
in
Denmark

On Tuesday the 30th of September 2016 we, Paula Schnedl, Viktoria Petritsch, Michelle Steinkellner, Verena Fössl, Vanessa Vörös, Lisa Strohmeyer, Selina Stolz, Sabrina Sattler and our teachers Miss Prenn and Mister Fiechtl started the journey to our destination Aalborg (Denmark). We met each other at the train station Judenburg on the evening. The students said goodbye to the parents and the sisters and brothers, took the luggage and got in the train to Vienna central train station. Everyone sat down and the train started to move. We were really excited because no-one of us knew what we have to expect from Denmark.  During the drive we got in contact with everyone and we had much fun together. After the 2 hours in the train we were exhausted at the Vienna central station. We determined to bring the luggage in the hotel before we went for some food.

We started early on the next morning. We took the train at 5 am und arrived a bit later at the airport in Vienna. After our arrival at the Airport we reserved some seats in the plane. We took our boarding tickets and checked us in. We couldn’t believe that we were in Denmark in some hours. We were really glad to be a part of the Erasmus + project. We were sitting in the waiting room when suddenly the staff allowed us to go in the plane. We flew with the Austrian airlines. We stowed our hand luggage and sat down. The stewardess explained us the safety instructions and we rolled to the runway. Some of us felt really queasy, but the breath-taking view and the support of the others helped us. On board we got a delicious breakfast. The 1 ½ hours in the plane flew by.

We arrived at Copenhagen, took our luggage and headed for our Hotel. It was called Island Hotel. After we found our Hotel and checked in, we went by train to the centre. We had some free time to get some food and afterwards we walked along the streets. We were fascinated by the small, coloured houses and the harbour was incredible. A bit tired and exhausted we went back to our Hotel und took our luggage and brought it to the hotel room. The rooms were bright and beautiful and the best was the view to the sea.
This evening we had free time. Many of us stayed in the hotel, the others walked to the shopping mall next to our hotel and some just sat on the bench and enjoyed the beautiful view.

After a relaxing night, we woke up on Saturday to start our first day in “Kopenhaven” and went straightaway to the nearby shoppingcenter to have breakfast. As soon as we were awake and our hunger satisfied, we made our way to the city centre to get tickets for a sightseeing boat trip around Copenhagen. Shipping through the canals of Copenhagen, we saw attractions like the Opera House, the Playhouse, the Royall Palace and the famous Little Mermaid. After the boat trip, we decided to have a closer look at the Palace and its gardens. At the Royal Palace, we were lucky to see the end of the shift and how the guards left the palace for the weekend. Afterwards, we visited the modern museum, which was part of the palace, and walked through the royal gardens to have a closer look at the “Little Mermaid”. After taking many photos, we decided that it was time for lunch, so we went to the street food market, where they offer different kinds of food throughout the year. When we had finally found our favourite food, we sat down by the sea and watched the seagulls. Again, we took some photos, and then we finally got back to our hotel, where most of us fell asleep for a few hours, because we were so exhausted. In the evening, we all met at the mall again to grab something to eat and drink. Back at the hotel, we sat together till late at night, until we finally went to bed. Exhausted, but also excited for the next day, we fell asleep.
