The workshops with Podaj Dalej - Art
Today, 27th
September, our Erasmus+ team has visited Funadtion „Podaj Dalej” in order to
participate or even help disabled people to create autumn leaves. This workshop
was prepared by one of the members belonging to Foundation, Ewa Ziemer. The atmosphere was wonderful there, we could feel how amazing
people they are, that they really love
each other and care about each other. We helped them first to do simple rolls
from paper and then to stick these into leaves and finally to paint them with
different paints. They seemed to be really happy with our visit and one of
girls even pained red heard with words GIM 2. It was truly nice of her. It was
definitely another wonderful experience with Foundation “Podaj Dalej” and we
hope that not the last one.
Erasmus+ Song
Colours of a butterfly
Just a little sneak peak of the project song. It's in the making right
now - and the lyrics are based on words from workshops with the Danish
students. The music is written originally for this project by Anders
Hornshøj. You will all learn it in DK in a workshop and together we will
perform it... CU in Denmark!!!!
Lyrics
Musik: Anders Hornshøj
Lyrics: 8K/Tine Pejstrup
1. Vers
Trapped in a body and mind
My soul is locked in an unknown world
Do you dare to take my hand and try to understand
Perhaps we should meet out there
With our hearts open
Just to agree on the distance
Between us
(Chorus)
If you see me in my many colours
I’ll shine and spread my wings out like a butterfly
We are still all one of the same kind
Just open your mind
And then you will find
We are not that far apart
2. Vers
Thoughts running through my mind
Sometimes it’s hard to make a change
Do you dare to take my hand and try to understand
Perhaps we should meet out there
With our hearts open
Just to agree on the distance
Between us
(Chorus)
3. Vers
If you see me clearly with eyes of care
Fragments of hope shines in my hair
Different colours – everywhere I go
In the sky, like a butterfly
(Chorus)
If you see me in my many colours
I will shine and spread my wings out like a butterfly
We are still all one of the same kind
Just open your mind
And then you will find
If you see me in my many colours
Just open your mind
And then you will find We are not,
We are not
We are not that far apart

Erasmus+: Visit of the Odilieninstitut and
Lebenshilfe in Graz (5a, 5b und 6b)
English:
On Tuesday the 5th of July the classes 5A,5B and 6B took a trip to Graz. After a two-hour train journey, we reached the Grazer central station. We split in three groups and in spite of many road works we reached the ‘Odilieninstitut’ and ‘Lebenshilfe’ in the centre of Graz on time. Our school participates in the years 2015/16 and 2016/17 in Erasmus + project which also includes visits to organisations for people with disabilities. So the 5a class group had the possibility to visit the ‘Odilieninstitut’ to get new impressions. We found out that the institution was built in 1881 and offers since that time the possibility of education for disabled people. Besides a weaving mill and a pottery, the institution includes a lot of workshops, where brooms still become handmade. Furthermore, the blind person’s institution as the only equipment in Austria still restores Thonetstühle. Though the institution sells its products in an own shop, organises states and bazaars and works even on order, the motto is valid: Not “producing” is the most important, but the joy and the work free of stress are in the foreground!

Friday in Poland and a poignant morning
We went kayaking in Pogorzelica where we were soaking wet and
frightened of the lightning. It was a very scary afternoon but for some of our
students the best memory from the visit in Konin.
On Saturday our dear quests left Konin and went home..........with a lot of
great experience....we hope so.
It was certainly the crazy week full of fun but also the week of breaking
our borders...and finally the week of learning from each other.
