On Friday 8 th of January we visited Doctor
Piotr Janaszek’s Foundation called „PODAJ DALEJ’ and they adgreed to cooperate
with us in our project Erasmus+.
The mission of the Foundation “Podaj Dalej’ is
to help disabled people to get independent and make it possible for them to
live on their own in all areas of life. The Foundation “Podaj Dalej” has been in
existance for ten years now doing different activities like organising sports
activities (swimming, boccia, dance on wheels-chairs,basketball on wheels-chairs),
like organising workshops about being tolerant or how to behave in the presance
of disabled people, like promoting volunteering (there are 50 members).
The Foundation cooperates with different
schools, self-governement,governmental organisations doing important projects
and talking about them in media. Lately they patricipated in establishing hostel in Konin which is fully adapted to the needs of people with physical disabilities.
We are very proud that they agreed to cooperate
with our school too and very soon we will visit them with our Erasmus+ team(24
students) and participate in the workshops about different disabilities.
